With fall coming up quick, we have been getting in truck loads of new plants to fill the green houses.  There are many new varieties brought in that are new to Oklahoma! Beautiful plants like... Sweet Marmalade Butterfly Bush 'Buddleia', which has small, orange blooms but has the soft leaves of lambs ear. Limelight Hydrangea, which has large, white blooms and is tree form. Sorbaria Ash Leaf Spirea 'Sorbaria sorbifolia', which has large plumes of creamy, white flowers. Now that we have entered cooler, autumn like weather, (hopefully it is around for good! Adios Heat Dome!) we have enjoyed planting our pansies  & kale for the fall.  We have been busy filling many flats with soil and planting these baby plants, ready to enjoy fall planting again!  Can't you picture it, autumn colored leaves falling to the ground, gloves on, also a light jacket to keep from getting a chill from the breeze, planting flats of these brightly colored, winter-ready flowers?  Who needs the beach?
